Current Projects

The Fairbanking Foundation has a range of projects on the go at any one time. In this section we share with you outlines of some of the major initiatives we are currently working on.

In addition to these projects, Fairbanking remains involved in other consultancy projects for various bodies and firms. Where appropriate and where clients are happy for us to do so, we include outputs of those projects in the Previous reports section of this site.

Fairbanking Ratings updated for 2011

Fairbanking published it's first set of ratings for the financial well-being delivered by core UK banking products in February 2010.

Work was completed earlier in 2011 to update this first set of ratings, to now cover credit cards, savings accounts, current accounts with an overdraft facility and current accounts without overdrafts. The update was carried out via an extensive survey of more than 50 banking groups in the UK.

The results and conclusions from this work were published in April 2011 in the report entitled “Fairbanking Ratings: Is UK retail banking showing signs of reform?”
