Chris Rumsey

Chairman:
Chris Rumsey
's involvement with innovation in property ownership and financial services was developed during his time as the chief executive of an FSA-regulated property fund management group. After leading a successful management-buy-out of that group he concentrated on his research into the potential for retirement-age individuals to gain more from their property ownership. In turn this led to the creation of Retirement Plus, an equity release business that introduced a new area of consumer choice with its ground-breaking Property Plan.

Chris is a Fellow of the RICS and has served as a director of several property companies. He has long held an interest in developing the relationship between workplace skills and life skills. In connection with this he was formerly chairman of SkillRetail, the original accredited skills competition for the UK retail industry
